By the time the quota number moved, the pipeline was already gone.
Healthcare RCM · Leading-Indicator Scorecards & Coaching
What we walked into
A healthcare revenue-cycle-management firm reviewed performance monthly using quota attainment alone, a lagging number that surfaced problems six weeks after they'd already cost pipeline. Coaching was reactive and inconsistent across managers, and reps disputed rankings because nobody agreed on what "good" actually looked like. This is a Performance Engine gap: no shared scorecard, no leading indicators, no structural link between weekly activity and the quarterly outcome.
The engineering work
-
Built a leading-indicator scorecard tied to what actually predicts quota attainment
-
Standardised a weekly coaching cadence across every manager
-
Replaced subjective rankings with one shared, data-driven scorecard
-
Linked forecast reviews to the same leading indicators reps were coached on
What this engine is designed to move
“A monthly quota review doesn't coach performance. It autopsies it. The Performance Engine moves the conversation to the leading indicators, while there's still time to change the outcome.”
Client details are anonymised and described by sector and region only. Improvement targets shown are illustrative and modelled on published B2B sales-performance and coaching benchmarks. They represent the scale of change this engine is designed to pursue, not audited results from a completed engagement. Verified, named results are published only with client consent as engagements mature.
